As many of you already know, the state of Ohio is allowing the reopening of retail businesses beginning tomorrow May 12th. Our team has been busy preparing for this reopening by deep cleaning all of our stores, discussing what safety precautions will make our team and customers safe moving forward, and putting together a plan to help us navigate this ever changing landscape. The shopping experience at RGD is going to be different than usual, but the safety and comfort of everyone is our number one priority.
All locations will be operating with limited hours as follows:
Easton: Monday - CLOSED, Tuesday - Saturday 11am to 7pm, Sunday 12pm to 6pm
Short North & Grandview: Monday - CLOSED, Tuesday - Thursday 12pm to 6pm, Friday - Saturday 11a to 7pm, Sunday 12pm to 6pm
German Village: Monday-Friday: CLOSED, Saturday: 11a to 7p, Sunday: 12p to 6p
New safety protocols have been implemented to maintain the cleanliness of each location and limit the amount of contact between employees and customers. We will require all employees and customers wear masks while inside our stores; single use paper masks will be available inside the door at all locations for those who do not have a mask. We will only allow occupancy up to 50% of the fire code for each location to allow for social distancing. Doors will be propped open for no-touch entry with a hand sanitizing station set up at the entrance where customers are required to sanitize their hands before touching any products. We ask that you refrain from touching items unless you're seriously considering purchasing them.
Small plastic bins will be set up by the doors and we encourage all customers to place jewelry they touch or try on inside one of these bins. All items that are not purchased will be sanitized thoroughly before they are placed back on the sales floor. Employees will sanitize their hands before each transaction/handling your items, we will be accepting cards only for payment, and customers will swipe their own cards to reduce the amount of contact with others. There will be an additional hand sanitizing station at the checkout available for customers to use once they're finished shopping.
HOW WE CAN ASSIST YOU VIRTUALLY
We understand not everyone may be comfortable shopping with us in person at this time, so we want to make sure we can assist those who are still looking for a virtual/online shopping experience or more limited contact.
While we have a different selection of jewelry on Etsy that isn't available in our stores, our Etsy shop is a great resource for contactless shopping! Our 15% off shop wide sale runs through May 17th and free shipping on all orders will continue moving forward. Customization services will be available in store and online.
Local Pick Up
As always any online orders placed through Etsy are eligible for free local pick up at any of our retail locations. To take advantage of this option please leave a note on your order with your full name, phone number, desired pick up location, and a pick up deadline if you have one. We will do our best to accommodate your order and get your items to the store by the time you need them.
Curbside Pick Up
Our stores will also be able to provide curbside pick up for orders as well. Just call the store when you've arrived and one of our team members will run your item(s) out to you as soon as they can (these orders must be paid ahead of pick up).

If you have a general idea of what you're looking for you can reach any location by text to have photos or videos of jewelry options sent to you. If you see something you like we can take payment over the phone for curbside pick up or hold the item for in store pick up.
Because this is a very fluid situation often changing day to day these details and protocols are subject to change. We will reassess everything as needed if we feel we need to make any changes to provide a safer environment and this will continue to be a learning process for everyone.
